Ever since I got Mischa at 8 weeks old, we've always had a connection. As I would move around a room, he would just calmly watch me. He always wanted me in sight. Mischa has always been a calming presence - to people and to dogs. Whenever we had a dog that was nervous around other dogs, we'd let them hang out with Mischa. He was a loner and never wanted to play with other dogs, but dogs still wanted to hang out with him because he disciplined fairly and had such a calming demeanor.

Mischa became the youngest Whippet to earn his RAE (Rally Advanced Excellent) title. From that, he taught me to only participate in sports that my dogs liked to do, so we tried agility. He was my first agility dog and we entered a world that would bring great friends and much bonding and fun with my future dogs. He also guided me into the world of racing, lure coursing, and therapy dog work.

Mischa has been referred to as the Miracle Dog for as many things as he has encountered and fought through. He beat Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia and a Mast Cell tumor. He outlasted hemangiosarcoma and Inflammatory Bowel Disease. He endured and prevailed over 2 CCL surgeries. We wouldn't have been near as successful without his amazing vet, Teresa Calvert. Her continued education and drive to learn as much as possible in order to help these animals in the most healthy and natural way possible is a blessing to all of us who are tired of the unhealthy conventional methods of just throwing pain meds and antibiotics at an unhealthy dog and hoping for the best. She strives to get to the root of the problem and heal from the inside out. Without her help and experience with Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Kinesiology, and nutrition, we would have had many less years with Mischa. When other vets told me that focusing on nutrition and supplements was a  waste of my money, she was right there to guide me and help us find what worked best.

When Mischa was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia at 7 1/2, I was told that I would be lucky to have two more years with him. This was my heart dog and best friend and there was no way I was losing him before 10 years old without a fight! Well, he obviously agreed with me, because he beat CLL and stayed with me for 6 more years. I have been extremely grateful and blessed for every day that I have been able to spend with him . My heart and life will have a huge unfillable hole for a very long time.

When we registered your name, Jeté From Heaven, we had no idea how much you would live up to that name. You have been the best dog, buddy Roo. God definitely loaned me an angel and now I have to return you. Leap back to Heaven, my sweet boy. You are very special and no one will ever replace you. Thank you for being a great example for other dogs to look up to.

These are pictures of our 7 dogs. We have two Great Danes, two Whippets, a Jack Russel/Cavalier, a Kooikerhondje, and a Chow/lab. We do agility, barn hunt, rally, dock diving, and conformation among other sports! These guys are our whole world and the reason we started this store. All products we sell, these guys have tested out for us!
